Russell Dickerson to drop new album ‘Famous Back Home’ on Aug. 22

Russell Dickerson will drop his latest album “Famous Back Home” on Aug. 22.

Dickerson took to his Instagram to share the news with fans: “My new album ‘Famous Back Home’ is coming out August 22nd!!!” I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to hear these songs! Pre-save link bio!”

The 12-track project includes 10 songs co-written by Dickerson, and is also co-produced by Dickerson alongside longtime collaborator Josh Kerr, plus Casey Brown and Chris LaCorte on select songs.

Dickerson shares: “Growing up in a small town, I had this idea ‘I’m going to make it out of here. I’m going to make it big. Everybody is going to know my name.’ But then you have a family and it’s like, ‘Actually, all I want to do is be famous at home.’ The further down this road I get, the more I realize the only thing that matters is my family.”
