School’s Out! Summer Challenge Kick-Off

Celebrate the sunshine with an afternoon of summer fun at the C. Burr Artz Library!
2 p.m. – The Beautiful Blackbird storytelling will kick off the day in the Children’s Library. Rose Allen, storyteller with AARCH (African American Resources Culture and Heritage Society), will share a message of finding true beauty within one’s self as she shares Beautiful Blackbird by Ashley Bryan.
Other activities include: an interactive obstacle course provided by i9 Sports in the Community Room; Self Portraits Art Project in the Programming Room; and outside water play (weather permitting).
